(  , Food and Agriculture Organization )  LAUNCHED THE CAMPAIGN ‘FREEDOM FROM HUNGER’ TO FOCUS PUBLIC ATTENTION ON CONTINUING PROBLEM OF HUNGER AND TO MOBILIZE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT FOR ITS SOLUTION. UNDER ‘FREEDOM FORM HUNGER  STAMP PLAN, ALSO SPONSORED BY F.A.O., INDIA DONATED 1,00,000 STAMPS AS HER CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS CAMPAIGN FUND. THIS ISSUE PUBLICISES THE CAMPAIGN. THE STAMP FEATURES THE EMBLEM OF SUCCOUR GIVING FAO AND HANDS REACHING FOR IT.
